FANCY THAT!
The Aztecs were big on festivals. That doesn´t mean they got wristbands and stood in a big field listening to bands and eating expensive burgers – their fests were about making sure the gods were happy. Festivals took place regularly to make sure crops were protected and that they flourished. People would dress in elaborate costumes, carry out rituals and have feasts. Quite a party!
