A day of activities in Hoyland to mark 100 years since the end of the First World War. Events will include a live band, family entertainment and beacon lighting to join the national ‘Beacons of Light – Battle’s Over’ campaign.

The Great War – Trilogy Lectures with Paul Reed

On three consecutive Saturdays following Remembrance Day, leading military historian, Paul Reed, will be giving a trilogy of lectures on the causes, impact and legacy of The Great War.
