She wasn’t sure what to do because he was of a different race. But he
insisted that if she only knew who he was — the one asking her for a

drink — she would gladly oblige.

Jesus’ disciples had gone into town to buy food. After giving her a

quick history lesson, she was so excited that she went back and told

everyone who would listen — which was basically everyone in the
village.

There was a great revival in that village. Jesus and his disciples
remained there for a few more days, preaching to them about the

Kingdom of God.
