DAY 14: THE LORD IS MY HEALER

I am Mila. In September 2004, I woke up with blood in my
blanket. My husband took me to the nearest hospital. I had
an ultrasound, and the result showed the blood came from
the polyps inside my cervix. I had minor surgery and had
some tissue taken for biopsy. After a long wait, the result
was given - it was stage three cervical cancer.
The next treatment was a unique and expensive procedure
called “brachytherapy,” followed by 26 days of “cobalt” or
“radiation.” Then another surgery for a hysterectomy was
done.

Since then, every morning, I thank God for healing me. I
praise Him for the new life and new beginning that He has
given me. My Redeemer and Master proved to me that His
Word is true when He said:
“I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper, I will not
fear, what can man do to me?” Hebrews 13:5-6
I am seventy-nine years old and still rejoicing for what God
has done to me. It is always my joy to tell people that God
loves us so much and that He is our Healer. He is our YHWH
Rapha.
