DAY 21: THE LORD MY REDEEMER









              “Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you
             disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise
                      Him for the help of His countenance.”
                                   Psalm 42:5

            This is a short version of what Wilma wrote for her talk in
            one of the church group gatherings about few years ago.
            These still captured the heart and the essence of her message
            and hopefully will  encourage  the  reader  in  some  ways. –

                             When You Feel Stuck
                           Wilma Requina Testimony

            Thus far, my life this year has not been how I had hoped and
            planned. And I am not happy about it.

            It's not that I wanted "more;" I just wanted "different."
            We can feel stuck when a difficult situation rages into our
            lives, and we don't like it one bit yet can't escape it. We can
            feel stuck when it seems we've done everything possible to
            bring about change of some sort — yet nothing seems to
            ever change. Or when we're constantly trying to manipulate
            things to go our way, control things beyond our control or
            change people, we have no power to change.

            I've finally realized  that  even  if it  seems justified, I  don't
            have to let discontentment or bitterness poison my heart and
