Fixing errors on your credit report can be difficult, and you may
feel powerless if your first few attempts to have an error corrected are
rejected or ignored. But you are not powerless! As you can tell by the
language of the second letter, there are laws in place requiring credit
bureaus to do their job, and procedures that they must follow. This is
called the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
As with all things in the credit game, all you need to gain a big
advantage is knowledge, and the patience and persistence to follow
the necessary steps to accomplish your goals.
When you have those two things, you have power.
