SESSION 11 : Song of Songs Chapter 4:12-16 & 5:1 (AMP)

convinced of His faithfulness and entreats Him to do whatever is

necessary to increase her fruitfulness for the Kingdom.

The north wind is chilling, harsh, and very cold, whereas the south wind

is warm, pleasant, soothing, and gentle. In the natural, many of us shy
away from the ministry of the north wind blowing upon our hearts—

but it is of incalculable value to our spiritual growth and vigour, and

the Shulamite knows it. She is now so desperate to conform to the
image of Christ that whatever wind the Lord chooses is now acceptable,

          regardless of the cost.

Interestingly, during my research, I discovered that a weather vane in

          Leicestershire is inscribed with:

          “God is love.”

This is true—from whichever direction His wind blows.

What grace He has shown her in bringing her this far. Outward
circumstances can no longer adversely affect or disturb her progression

in the Spirit, because she knows He is sovereign and can be trusted.

Read these words from Watchman Nee:

“This maiden was no longer bound within the walls of one set of

circumstances, but could live and flourish in any exterior condition.
She was confidently aware of the fact that if there were fullness of

spiritual grace within, then there would be no difficulty in adjusting to
          any circumstance which might arise.”
