SESSION 11 : Song of Songs Chapter 4:12-16 & 5:1 (AMP)

POINTS FOR DISCUSSION AND REFLECTION

1. For this exercise, find somewhere quiet where you can be alone
and separate from the hustle and bustle of life. A garden would

be perfect!

Spend an hour alone in silence (or as long as you can) with the
Holy Spirit. Write down anything that He shows you as you

simply listen and wait.
2. Read the poem below and invite the Holy Spirit to speak to you

as you sit and meditate on the words.

In the Garden by C. Austin Miles

I come to the garden alone, while the dew is still on the roses;

And the voice I hear, falling on my ear, the Son of God discloses.

And He walks with me, and He talks with me, and He tells me I am His
own.

And the joy we share as we tarry there, none other has ever known.

He speaks, and the sound of His voice is so sweet that the birds hush

their Singing, and the melody that He gave to me within my heart is
ringing.
