SESSION 15 : Song of Songs Chapter 6:8-12

the situation and the enormity of the task—but He shows her where she

          is positioned in the spirit.

She is not alone, but sitting with Him in His royal chariot, riding

together wherever the Holy Spirit takes them.

The King James Version clarifies verse 12 even further through the

usage of the word Amminadib. It reads:

“Or ever I was aware, my soul made me like the chariots of
Amminadib” (which means my people of a willing heart).

Notice how reference is made to there being more than one chariot—
there are chariots. And what’s more, they contain other like-minded

          believers.

Like the Shulamite, they too live from a heaven-to-earth perspective,

possessing willing hearts that have allowed the Holy Spirit to work in

them the grace of Christ—so that they no longer live for themselves,
but live yielded and willing to be lights for Him in this perverse and

crooked generation. They are willing, consecrated vehicles for God to

          move throughout the earth.

Before I conclude this session, I wish to bring to your notice three

important lessons that really stood out whilst I studied verse 11.

I believe they could be of great encouragement to some brothers and

sisters at this time. I will deal with each one separately in the Points for

Discussion and Reflection session. They are:
