RADICAL LOVE

stretching of a shoe is not instantaneous. It takes time to make the shoe

ready for use. We have to be prepared and moulded to be qualified to
wear the shoes of the Gospel of peace, and the shoes of Sonship.

So, we need to surrender to this season of seemingly “not much in
particular.” When we do, the Lord will make us into beautiful flowers

that exude His exquisite fragrance for the praise of His glory, and we

will be fully ready to step into our God-given destinies.

Interestingly, it states that the Shulamite is a rose of Sharon, and Sharon

means "peace." She has peace in this season!

I am reminded how Moses walked forty years through such a season.

Theologian F.B. Meyer wrote in his book The Servant of God:
“He (Moses) had to spend many a long year of lonely waiting and trial

before this strong and radiant nature could be broken down, shaped

into a vessel meet for the Master’s use and prepared for every good
          work.”

Then, finally, he was ready to be propelled into his destiny and calling.
In Exodus 3:1, we read how he was tending his father-in-law’s flock

and came to Horeb, which literally means “the back of beyond.” It was

here that God chose to manifest Himself—in the middle of a dried-out,
          run-of-the-mill desert bush!

God could have chosen something of beauty or excellence of its own
to commend it, but He didn’t. Similarly, God chooses ordinary people
