garage is connected to the house — so how could it be
sold by itself?

Next up was the farmers’ market. A farmer is exactly
that — a farmer. Where I’m from, the higgler is the one

who goes to the farmer and buys the goods to sell in the

market.

Many other things were entirely new for me.

But all in all, I had a good life. Now, in the twilight of

my life, I can say the Lord has been very good to me. I
don’t have many earthly belongings, but I have life —

and my children love me.

To those of my children who think I was a bad mother,

they should walk a mile in my shoes.
