Mark 8:22–38

Jesus Heals a Blind Man at Bethsaida

He sat at the corner by the road each morning, begging

for alms. One day, around midday, he heard a
commotion. Someone said, "Jesus is passing by!"

"Please," he cried, "help me! I want to see you!"

Jesus stopped.

"What can I do for you?" He asked.

With tears flowing, the man said, "I just want to see."

Jesus led him out of the city, putting spit on his eyes. At

first, it was blurry. The man said he saw men as trees,
but shortly after, Jesus touched his eyes again, and he

could see clearly. Jesus then sent him home, telling him,
"Neither go into the town, nor tell anyone in the town"

(v26, NKJV).
