trouble, out there in Jamaica. Those were the years when
young people were dying like flies. But he kept it

together and stayed safe. Over time, he became a real

          big brother to them all. My son is such a good person;
he never judged me at any time.

He was too young to understand, but when he grew up,
he went searching for his roots and found his biological

father. When he found him, my story about his father

was confirmed. He also found other brothers and
sisters—some younger, some older than himself. Now

he has become a handsome young man with a family of
          his own. Blessings, my son.

One of my twins—had a kidney problem and needed a
transplant a few years after she came up. I was the first

to volunteer, but was turned down because I wasn't

healthy enough. My other twin also tried, without
success. One by one, we were turned down. Other

family members tried, but none were successful.

She ended up getting a kidney from a Chinese donor—

maybe it’s no surprise, since she was always craving
          Chinese food.
