and let me finish negotiations with the General. Do you
understand?"

"Commander Polk, can I call you 'Pokey'? Here's how this is
going to go down. The General is on the phone to Moscow
getting the President there so I can speak to him. He is doing
this because of what I have shown him. I want you to get on
your phone and get the president of this country on the phone
so I can speak to him. You are going to have to trust me,
Pokey, that this is important enough to disturb him. The
general is waking up his president in the middle of the night,
so he thinks it is. When I have these two men on the phone,

then I will tell them what I know and the three of us will
determine how to proceed. Okay?" There was a pregnant
pause.

"Understood." Replied a surprised and relieved Commander
Polk. At least it would be out of his hands and this very tense
situation may be resolved without him having to give attack

orders to his SWAT team.
