Mr. Neeraj Bhargava,
Principal, Abu Dhabi Indian School
While UAE marks the fiftieth anniversary of its formation, I would like to
congratulate the rulers of this great Nation for their extraordinary efforts and
supreme vision that has transformed this land from a barren desert to a
country of most modern cities with the latest infrastructure. It's a privilege
for us - the students and staff of Abu Dhabi Indian School - to be part of this
celebration as the country marks this major milestone.
The UAE is a place where tradition meets innovation. The country has taken
a significant leap to embrace modern technology in all areas while still rooted
in its great tradition, values, and culture. Being at the cockpit of an
educational organization, I appreciate the vision of the government to
prioritize moral values in education while emphasizing the development of
competencies and skills according to the requirements of the century. As
rightfully said by His Highness, Late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan al Nahyan the
Father of UAE, "No matter how many buildings, foundations, schools and
hospitals we raise, all these are material entities. The real spirit behind the
progress is the human spirit, the able man with his intellect and capabilities."
As part of the Indian Community, I would like to record our deepest gratitude
to His Highness, Late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan al Nahyan for presenting us
with land and support that helped in the formation of Abu Dhabi Indian
School. It is our great responsibility to uphold and respect this country's
values and traditions and stay loyal and thankful for the gifts and pleasures
we enjoy here.
