A graphic was also produced for the home page of the website to encourage members to read the
nominations and vote for the choice of the best nomination.
An email was sent to all financial members with a valid and unique email address, inviting them to review
each of the four nominations and vote for their preferred nomination. A total of 2,009 emails were sent
out of which 22 bounced resulting in a total of 1,987 members eligible to vote.
Follow up reminder emails were sent on 23rd and 28th June, 2020 and voting closed at 11.59 pm on
Tuesday 30th June, 2020, New York Time.
A total of 213 or 11% of the members voted and there was a good spread of involvement from most
branches and chapters (See Table 1).
Given this was the first time we have tried this approach it is a very pleasing result.
