5- Proctitis. Rectal pain, discharge and may be bleeding.
6- Gonococcal tonsillitis or pharyngitis. Occurs as a result of oral sex.
7- Gonococcal septicemia with pyrexia and postural dermatitis is rare.
8- The fitz-hugh-curtis syndrome. It occurs in about 10% of cases of acute
salpingitis usually or gonococcal or chlamydial. The syndrome is characterized by
nausea, vomiting, pain in the right hypochondrium, sometimes shoulder pain and
positive 340opula sign. It is due to perihepatitis. The organisms reach the
perihepatic area from the tubes by lymphatics or by spread along peritoneal gutters.
Later on perihepatic adhesions form which can cause persistent pain in the right
hypochondrium
