Forschino Leads the Charge at After School
Cheerleaders come in many forms.
Some are the stereotypical young
women in short skirts with pompoms.
Some are stage moms encouraging their
triple threat talented kids to achieve
more. And some, like Brevard After
School’s program coordinator, Todd
Forschino, work tirelessly to promote the positive, feel-good vibe at the District’s afterschool program every day in every
way. He wants kids to succeed and he
wants the staff at Brevard After School
to know how important they are to each
child’s success. Forschino’s favorite thing
to do is to engage with students and help them feel special. “We are trying to build confidence in these kids,” he said. “We want them to know there is someone out there for them.”
