Apricot Crisp


                                    Submitted By  "Sis" Bobby Gay Dodson Maness Story
                                    Ingredigents:

                                    1 30 oz can apricot halves, drained, reserving 2 Tbsp
                                     of the syrup
                                    1¾ cups rice krispies cereal, crushed to measure 1 cup
                                    ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
                                    ¼ teaspoon salt
                                    ½ cup firmly packed brown sugar
                                    ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
                                    ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
                                    ⅓ cup margarine or butter, softened

                                    Directions:
                                    1. Cut each apricot half into 2 pieces. Combine with
                                    the 2 tablespoons apricot syrup in 1-qt casserole.
                                    Combine remaining ingredients, mixing until
                                    crumbly. Sprinkle over apricots.

                                    2. Bake in oven at 350°F about 30 minutes or until
                                    topping is browned. Serve warm. Top with ice cream,
                                    if desired.
