Polly's Cream Cheese Pound Cake

Ingredients:
3 cups of sugar
1½ cups of butter
1 (8 oz) pkg of cream cheese
6 eggs
3 cups of flour
1½ tsp of vanilla
1½ cups of chopped nuts (optional)
Cream sugar, butter, margarine, and cream cheese
together thoroughly, using an electric mixer. Add
eggs one at a time to mixture, beating thoroughly
after each addition. Beat in flour a little at a time.
Stir in vanilla and optional 1 cup of chopped nuts.
Grease a 10" Bundt cake pan and sprinkle remaining
½ cup of chopped nuts in bottom of pan. Pour
batter into pan.
Put in cold oven and set at 325°F. Bake for 1 hour
and 20 minutes, or until done (brown and pulling
loose from the side of the pan.)
