What are the latest developments in the Telecom Domain and how do
they impact consumers and the industry?

In the Telecom space, 5G is the biggest game changer of current times and has
opened doors to slew of innovative solutions and services for consumers as well
as for the industrial ecosystem. 5G – the 5th generation wireless mobile system
basically gives 10X more data speed that its predecessor 4G, has a 15X less
latency in data access (lag in simple language) and provides 100X more device
connectivity per cell. In many senses 5G has truly helped unlock unlimited
new services especially in the areas of virtual reality (VR),Internet of Things
(IoT), and artificial intelligence (AI). Serving as the critical wireless control
and access platform to solutions like autonomous driving vehicles, unmanned
drones, virtual gaming, telemedicine, smart services, and many productivity
improvement solutions in retail, agriculture and other spaces with help of
connected sensors using sensors- 5G’s industrial usage is soon going to surpass
the traditional mobile voice and data usage.
