THEATER - Raptors Got Talent. Virtual Talent Show to be held first week of December.

BAND - State Rep Anthony DeLuca hosting a "Have a S.A.F.E. Fall” event October 31st 11-1pm at
Jesus is the Life Church; IHSA Music Solo and Ensemble event March 6 (they want us to host)

• Director and Academy Lead to schedule Fine Arts Facilities Meeting when all courses and
staffing needs have been confirmed.
• Director is soliciting local businesses to donate prizes for winners of Raptors Got Talent.
• Director publishes bi-monthly newsletter for teachers with Fine Arts resources called The
Arts.

International Baccalaureate (IB)
Completed:
• Met with IB Coordinators to review Coordinator Job Description
• Set IB Middle Years Programme enrollment Goal 200 students: 100 Grade 9; 100 Grade 10
• Met with IB Head of School, IB MYP Coordinator and DP Coordinator to map our four-
year IB Course Sequence and course offerings for Fall 2021 (see chart on page 2)
• Director and MYP Coordinator (Applewhite) completed Lead the Learning IB Training

Together with the Director, the IB Leadership Team will:
• Participate in the virtual HS Fair schedule Wednesday October 28

• Complete IB Training scheduled Nov-Dec: Head of School (Garrett); Leading the
Learning (Gales, Wells); Counselor (Pulido)
• Establish expected IB outcomes after administrator IB training
• Develop teacher selection criteria and process to identify Fall 2021 IB teacher teams
• Recruit IB Middle Years Programme teaching staff: two teachers each subject
