Human Resources

               HUMAN RESOURCES

One building and grounds supervisor has resigned from his position due to accepting a position as a
Director in another District. The District is wishing him well in his new positon and the position has
been posted. The District has decided to restructure the position of Coordinator for Student Support
Services. The District is recommending eliminating this position and will post a position for a lead
guidance counselor who will work with counselors to increase programs for students, provide
professional development that will lead to ASCA certification, and coach counselors in providing
increased services and wrap out supports that will keep all students on track for graduation and enhance
               the overall student experience.

               COVID 19 UPDATE
District 227 is committed to creating a safe environment for all essential workers during the COVID 19
Pandemic. School will resume for all employees on January 11, 2021. All employees will have their
temperatures taken upon entry into the building and the District now requires all employees to complete
a daily health screening. The health screening provides an alert for administrators when an employee is
attempting to report for work and has symptoms. Employees who may have been exposed to the virus
have diligently reported information to the District and then seek testing. Employees with symptoms are
required to test, self-quarantine and retest with a negative test before reentry is allowed. The Illinois
Department of Public Health continues to be an invaluable partner providing information and updates
               for school districts.
