STEM - updated through May 29
The division continued to meet twice a week throughout working from home to help provide
community and support for each other. Teachers were able to learn and implement technology
within a moment’s notice and have seen the benefits of utilizing Google Voice to get in contact
with families. Ms. Stone logged over 418 attempts at communication with families during the
quarantine and most were successful using Google Voice or Google Messages.
The STEM Division from across the District helped to take the lead with beginning master
scheduling. We are looking forward to continued collaboration as we move our schedule to be a
Flex Mod for next school year.
The STEM Division achieved a 95% passing rate for second semester during the quarantine. This
is up from 86% success rate in semester 2 of 2018-2019.
