Working with District 163, we are piloting the career exploration software Major Clarity. 8 and 9
grade students will take a career interest and learning style assessment to find “best-fit” careers. The
students will engage in hands-on activities and learn about various careers identified by the
assessment.
There will be professional development for the staff and a calendar will be created to schedule student
check-ins. The check-ins will be an opportunity for students to provide feedback.
Math and Reading teachers continue to work with CTE teachers after school to support the
implementation of reading and math strategies intended for students to master skills.
