Intelligent Commerce

Introduction
Ÿ Department of Intelligent Commerce was renamed and transitioned in 2019 from Department of Information
Management, KUAS, for the new era of cloud computing.
Ÿ We focus on applying artificial intelligence and data analytics in business management, providing cross-
disciplinary learning between intelligent technologies and business management.
Ÿ Four tracks of certificate programs are available, Innovative Internet Marketing & Analytics Program, Intelligent
Commerce Cloud System Development Program, Intelligent Internet of Things Program and the multidisciplinary
Intelligent Finance & Big Data Program.
Ÿ Our teaching aims at developing practice-led researches and connecting with local industries for collaboration and
student learning that will lead to future opportunities in internships and jobs. We strive to prepare our students for
careers in the field of intelligent commerce.

The Aims of Education
1.Profession-oriented: We are dedicated to cultivating business management talents with technical knowhow and
skills to apply intelligent technologies to the real world.
2.Integrate theory and practice: We provide a learning environment integrated with research and practice, and
equip students with technical skills under projects and collaboration between industry and our faculty.
3.Develop skills and capacity for foresight: We prepare students with international perspectives, and skills of cross-
field practice in intelligent commerce.

Department Features
Ÿ Our four certificate programs enhance students’ abilities of applying cutting-edge technologies, including
Innovative Internet Marketing & Analytics Program, Intelligent Commerce Cloud System Development Program,
Intelligent Internet of Things Program and multidisciplinary Intelligent Finance & Big Data Program.
Ÿ We encourage collaborating with industry when students work on their projects. We emphasize on cultivating
cross-field intelligent commerce talents for small and medium enterprises.
Ÿ We introduce international famous cloud platform resources(such as Microsoft) in the fields of AI, big data
analysis, IOT, machine learning and deep learning to establish complete training courses.
Ÿ We offer training courses to enhance students’ English proficiency in four skills, listening, speaking, reading, and
writing to help them communicate effectively in international business.
