                   A. Learning Activity Objectives


                       Through  group  discussion  learning  patterns  and  presentations  based  on

                   problem based learning, students are expected to be able to identify social


                   functions, text structures, and language features of narrative texts, organize

                   random paragraphs into coherent narrative texts in accordance with logical

                   systematic both orally and in writing, and be able to present the contents of

                   the  narrative  text  by  using  simpler  language  in  accordance  with  social

                   functions, text structure, and language features.




                   B.  Material Description


                       In Indonesia and other countries starch has its own story. Indonesia is a

                   country in the Southeast Asia region. Various diversity of customs, tribes,

                   cultures, religions exist in this country. Several temples or natural features

                   that often occur in Southeast Asia have their own uniqueness and story. The

                   following is an explanation of narrative text in general and focuses on one of

                   the legends in Indonesia.
