Data from Badilag MA records that the number of divorce cases filed by wives in Indonesia has an increasing

trend every year and the number is even greater than divorced divorces. In 2015 alone there were 28.1% talak
divorces and 71.9% divorced, where the difference was 43.8%, while in 2018 it jumped sharply, namely 26.2%
divorced divorces and 73.7% divorced lawsuits. In the city of Padang itself in 2019, 75% of the 1,607 divorce

cases decided by the Religious Courts were divorced. In this case, there is a disputed divorce case that was
decided by the court, the wife as the plaintiff in addition to being burdened with court fees, also tends to

ignore her right to get something from her husband after the divorce, such as mut'ah living, iddah living,
children's maintenance and other rights. This of course has an impact on the resilience of the family after the
divorce, especially for wives who do not work (have no income). Family resilience here concerns the family's

ability to manage the problems it faces based on the resources it has to meet the needs of its family. The
purpose of this study was to describe the condition of post-divorce women's family resilience including

physical resilience, social resilience and psychological resilience and efforts to achieve family resilience after
the divorce. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data collection through in-depth interview method. The

informants were determined intentionally, namely women who sued for divorce from their husbands, had
children and had been divorced for at least 2 years. The data were analyzed qualitatively and interpretatively

based on the relevant literature review. The criteria for tenacity and toughness as well as independence are
reflected in the struggle of women in meeting family needs and educating and caring for children without a
husband. For them to be able to eat, send their children to school and live a quiet life without marital

problems is a happy thing. Although relatively many things are experienced and felt by women after their
husband's divorce as a result of the divorce decisions taken, the resilience of this woman's family has not

experienced total destruction or shaky existence. Certain adjustments are made to anticipate or minimize
the impact of divorce in order to maintain the continuity of family life, such as working to increase income,

asking parents for help and getting into debt and getting closer to God.
