(The conclusion of the «Expo 2020 Dubai» activities)
Customs collected more than 258$ million from 1,206,000
tons of exhibition goods. The Federal Authority for
Identity, Nationality, Customs, and Ports Security,
represented by Dubai Customs, achieved 1,432 customs
declarations for Expo Dubai 2020 goods, revealing
the facilities and customs privileges it provided to the
participants and visitors of the exhibition. In addition
to providing all its customs services through electronic
platforms and smart applications, by adopting copies and
electronic documents without the need to visit the center.

Bahraini Customs is preparing to launch the national single
window project

Launching the national single window project «Ofoq
2», which aims to develop digital services for clearance
and goods delivery in accordance with international best
practices in this field.

His Excellency pointed out the importance of achieving
smooth work procedures, which is a basic requirement
for attracting investment in the Kingdom of Bahrain,
explaining that the single window system is an electronic
portal characterized by an advanced risk system that
works on various customs data and takes into account
various government procedures developed and followed
internationally and in accordance with international best
practices.

His Excellency stressed that the system (Ofuq 2)
will achieve electronic integration and exchange of data
between electronic systems operating within the customs
department, by including all electronic services related to
stakeholders from the public and private sectors.
