ISTANBUL CONQUEST

Let’s talk about Istanbul Conquest. Before Istanbul Siege

II.Mehmed built Rumelia Fort from April 1452 to August 1452.

Because he had to control Istanbul Bosphorus. Also II.Mehmed

was engineer so he invented Cannon and first mortar of the

world. And he was trying to these inventions in Edirne. After

that, II.Mehmed came to Istanbul on 4th April 1453. Istanbul

Siege Began on 6th April 1453. He used his inventions to

conquer Istanbul. And II.Mehmed had ships walked on land

because Haliç was closed with chain however no body was

nothing can’t stop him to enter Haliç. Finally, II.Mehmed

conquered Istanbul on Tuesday on 29th May 1453. He went to

Istanbul and all people respected to him because after conquest,

he started to be known as FATIH.
