We adopted the 4Rs principle - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Proposed Product Lines
Recreate - to fabricate new products from wood off-cuts, as
follows: Based on criteria such as size, feasibility, and market demand,
we proposed two categories of product lines:
• Streamline off-cuts: Organise off-cuts based on shared
traits such as patterns, size, and wood type as shown in • Home Décor Collection (Figures 10-15)

• Office Organiser Collection (Figure 16-18)
• Minimise wastage: Make ‘products’ with minimal wastage
and environmental footprint. The dimensions of these products will align with standard
off-cut sizes, with smaller blocks joined to maximise
usage efficiency and minimise carbon footprint. While
two prototypes have been completed, the remaining six
proposals are represented with 3D visuals.
