While incorporating the purchase of FSC-certified paper bags as part of Lynk's sustainability effort is not an innovation or new
idea, it is an opportunity that should not be passed on. However, the cost of procurement is higher than that of a conventional
paper bag due to the small quantity purchased. It is by no means exorbitant. With economies of scale and advancement in
technology, the cost of procuring FSC-certified paper bags would decrease substantially over time. When that happens, not only
would it help companies like Lynk save costs, but it would also help to reduce carbon emissions.
