Based on the data collected, the measured average running current for most devices was found to be well within the
manufacturer-rated specifications. However, one exception was observed with the Sharp refrigerator, where the average
measured current exceeded the consumption indicated by its 3-tick energy efficiency label. (See Figure 4. Data monitored for

Additionally, we observed the standard operating hours for these devices to be between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM from Monday
to Friday. However, our data recorded over four weeks revealed that specific devices were functioning beyond these hours.
Timed power switches were implemented on the following devices: individual recommended savings are listed below, with the
estimated calculations.
