When Beetlejuice closed, I felt bad for everyone who wanted to see it but
couldn’t anymore. When I learned the news, I felt what my sister felt when she
found out that she couldn’t see School of Rock. Then I learned that was empa-
thy. Realizing that you need to put yourself in someone else’s shoes. Empathy
is very important in real life. It helps you to reach out to someone, and it can
help you, and others.
Just remembering that memory, I thought about Broadway’s future, and
what could happen. A Broadway show that was really popular, and made a great
amount of money for Broadway closes. Just that little piece of info shows that
Broadway will be losing tons of customers, and money. If Broadway closes more
famous shows like Hamilton, or Wicked, they would lose tons more money and
customers because they can’t see all the shows they would love to see. I know
Broadway is all about the money, but I think it is also about the experience. If
Broadway took away a beloved show forever, they would be taking something
great away.
