In November of 1991, Hal reopened a Ford/Mercury
                                                    dealership that had been closed for over a year with
                                                    partner B. Bowes. We bought a Mazda store and
                                                    have opened a used vehicle operation in a separate
                                                    location and have branded our organization as
                                                    Towne Auto Group. We started with 10 employees
                                                    and currently have 72
                                                    .

                                                    Hal’s personal experience has been in sales and
                                                    sales management. His goal had always been to own
                                                    his own business. Hal started in 1991 with 10
                                                    employees and has over 45 employees between the

                                                    My name is Josh Somers. I have been involved in
                                                    my family business for years growing up around the
                                                    industry. After finishing university in 2011 I was
                                                    privileged enough to start working in sales at our
                                                    dealer ship. One year of sales and a loss of a long
                                                    time employee ended up with me being put in the
                                                    used sales manager position.
                                                    The first two years were a big learning curve,
                                                    creating new process’s, and implementing new
                                                    strategies. The department has come a long way
                                                    from where it has been, and look forward to
                                                    continuing this until the department reaches a
                                                    consistent and sustainable level.
