Wolfhead Smokers began as the smokehouse for
Jail Island Salmon, which was one of the very first
aquaculture operations raising Atlantic Salmon in
NA in 1981. Jail Island was the first Canadian
salmon producer to implement its own processing,
branding and marketing plan, and developed a
reputation for excellent quality and customer
service. In 1998, Wolfhead Smokers became a stand
alone operation, and has earned a reputation for
producing some of the very best smoked salmon
available anywhere.
Matt currently holds the role of Production
Manager, handling the day to day operations, and
working to bring the very best smoked salmon to
Matt Wolf discerning customers across the country.

Shortly after learning to walk, Dave began growing
food. He discovered that sun, water and nutrients
combined with seeds creates something of value to
others. As a teen, Dave dove into many small
enterprises.
While attending university, Dave's farming passion
expanded to become Dave's Produce Packs, which
he operated from 2008-2018. He also started Driver
Dave's in 2008, a Halifax based airport shuttle that
annually serves 40,000 passengers.
David Wolpin Dave started working at Kredl's Corner Market at
age 11, became manager at age 19 and purchased
ELP8
CEO the store at age 22. He subsequently expanded it to
Driver Dave's Inc / Wolpin Enterprises be a local food focused grocery store. After 7 years
Incorporated of ownership, which included a near-bankruptcy
experience, he sold Kredl's in 2017 within WMI.
In 2019, Dave started a farm supply company,
