Michael has the role of project manager at Quality
Engineered Solutions Ltd. (QES) which is a
mechanical consulting engineering firm located in
Fredericton. Being a part of QES has allowed him to
utilize his engineering background from UNB in
multiple industrial ventilation projects around the
world. With his 6 years of engineering experience,
he helps to lead the team at QES in the project
design stages through to installation and
commissioning.
He has played a major role in receiving an
ACEC-NB showcase award for QES in recognition
for Engineering Excellence in Natural Resources,
Energy and Industry. He is a registered Professional
Engineer in New Brunswick as well as Ontario and
Michael Wilson also volunteers on the logbook committee for
2iC6 APEGNB.

Brendan is a co-founder of Trim Landscaping, a
full-service landscape construction and maintenance
company serving HRM and surrounding area.
Trim Landscaping began by a couple buddies
stealing their parent’s garden tools and trailer to try
and earn enough money for living expenses at
University to one of the largest landscaping
companies in Nova Scotia.
The growth of Trim has been attributed to both
growing services from basic lawn mowing to
landscape construction, carpentry, lighting and
beyond as well as two acquisitions of a competitor
and a subcontractor.
In the early stages of Trim, Brendan took time to
compete on the National Sailing Team using
landscaping to stay in shape and fund his campaign.
After an unsuccessful attempt at the London 2012
Brendan Wilton Olympics his focus went right back to home and the
business.
