Richard joined ACOA in 2005 as Senior Policy
                                                    Analyst, where he sought to help the Agency and
                                                    the region’s stakeholders better understand the
                                                    Atlantic economy and respond to its needs.
                                                    Richard’s current focus is supporting Atlantic
                                                    communities in becoming more inclusive,
                                                    innovative, and diversified, critical to helping the
                                                    region grow.
                                                    Richard believes in the importance of regional
                                                    economic development, and that it can only be done
                                                    by collaborating. A key element of success in his
                                                    career has been in working with governments, the

                                                    Danny is President of Cooke Capital Group, a
                                                    division of the Cooke Insurance Group specializing
                                                    on employee benefits offering.
                                                    Danny came to the Maritimes to play hockey when
                                                    he was 18 years old, and didn’t speak English at the
                                                    time. That was the journey that took him to PEI, the
                                                    place he has called home ever since.
                                                    Danny graduated from the Business Administration
                                                    program at UPEI with a focus on accounting and
                                                    finance and later completed the Canadian Risk
                                                    Management (CRM) designation from the
                                                    University of Toronto.
                                                    Danny’s vision to help his clients succeed is to go
                                                    beyond the traditional way of doing things and to
