James has over 25 years of experience as an
entrepreneur, educator and mentor for technology
companies.
He leads operational efforts with Rimot for the
development of an IoT based monitoring and insight
service for remote infrastructure.
After a successful career as an officer in the
Canadian Navy, he went on to lead an eCommerce
initiative for a major telecommunications carrier,
worked with one of the big 5 consulting firms,
founded and led a start-up in security technologies,
and been the product manager for a global broadcast
leader. Throughout, James has been part-time
engineering faculty for Dalhousie University
specializing in Company Operations, Lean Startup

James Craig and serving as a mentor for local start-up
companies.

COO He is a professional engineer with an MBA, a
published author and a patent holder. James is
Rimot.io Inc.
Dartmouth Nova Scotia married with two children. His son, also an
engineer, got his iron ring recently, and daughter
james.craig@rimot.io attending SMU for business. He is a keen sailor and
avid snowboarder.
