Maureen is Co-founder of Navigate Food Safety
Solutions along with her husband, Alex. Navigate is
rapidly gaining global traction in the field of food
safety systems and training. Working primarily in
North America they design, implement and audit
best practices for food manufacturers of every size
and production level. Their current focus is
designing and delivering online training in the same
field.
Maureen has owned and operated several
businesses. Prior to Navigate, she spent 7 years
managing all initiatives related to the brand of Chef
Michael Smith. As the business lead she negotiated
all contracts and managed all brand alignments. She
has vast experience in project management, client

In May of 2019, Alannah will graduate from the
UNBSJ, with a degree in Business Administration
and a major in Human Resources. Having been
thoroughly involved in academics, athletics, and
volunteering, both inside and outside of school, she
knows the true meaning of accomplishment and has
learned a lot about herself throughout this
educational journey.
Jumping into her fourth year as CFO/COO of
PhysioFirst PC Corp, she is confident to have found
her calling. She knows the ins and outs of this
organization, as she has handled the operational and
financial aspects extensively. Alannah is known for
her quick solutions and drive for operational
excellence, she attributes this to her background in
