Mark is the President of Action Fasteners Ltd. As
the first independent fastening house in the
Maritimes, Action has been a leading supplier of
commercial construction products across the region
with a primary focus on customer service.
Mark returned from Montreal to join his family
business in 2010. As a second generation owner,
Mark looks forward to sticking to the company’s
core values while modernizing the approach to bring
the business to the next level.

Hugh is a graduate of the Forest Engineering
Program at the University of New Brunswick. He
started his career in the sawmill industry
immediately after graduation as a supervisor at the
J.D. Irving sawmill in Truro, NS.
After working in sawmill management for several
years Hugh moved into a role in sawmill machinery
manufacturing in late 2005. Hugh started out with a
smaller Nackawic based company and would later
join McDonough Manufacturing as the GM of their
Edger Division.
Working from a home office in Fredericton Hugh
helped build the edger product line for McDonough
to the point that it now has it's own dedicated
manufacturing facility that operates here in
Hugh Hawley Mactaquac, NB. Opening in October of 2017 with
SEP13 only 5 employees the shop here now employs a
GM, McDonough Canada team of 25 staff and skilled trades workers.
McDonough Manufacturing Hugh lives in Fredericton with his wife Rashmi and
Mactaquac New Brunswick two children, Maya and Nikhil.
