Dear Senior,
Hello I am currently a senior at Donovan Catholic High School and
because of the current situation, I have been cooped up inside. I have been
using this time to spend with my family, and as I spend time with them I can’t
help but think of those who aren’t as fortunate as I and cannot see their
family. I hope this letter finds you well and provides you with some comfort
during these trying times.
My name is Ariana. This fall, I will be attending school in Florida in
order to pursue my goals of becoming an audiologist. While in high school, I
have been very involved in the performing arts and play the electric bass and
violin in my school's bands. I also partake in our theater productions in both
the production crew responsible for props and as a featured dancer. I am a
member of many organizations at my high school, such as National Honor
Society, Operation Smile, Habitat for Humanity, and Student Ambassadors.
Both in high school and throughout my childhood, I have been a member of
the Girl Scouts and often spend my time volunteering. High school has
offered me many opportunities, and as it draws to a close, I am saddened by
the many memories that I will miss and look fondly back at all high school
has offered.
Throughout time, people and the way high schoolers live have
changed. I would be very interested in hearing what your experiences were
like in high school, what activities you were involved in, and what
experiences you had in your senior year. I hope to hear from you soon, and I
hope you find a way to do well during this difficult time.
I hope you can find joy during this religious time and are able to
appreciate the holiday to its full extent. Again, I look forward to hearing from
you soon and wish well.
