P. 2
Dear Senior,
I am a Senior at Donovan Catholic High School and it seems that our
lives have become very similar. Like you, unfortunately due to quarantine, I
cannot do what I usually do, and it is not much fun.
As well as being a senior in high school, I am also involved in my school
plays. This year we are performing “42nd Street,” and this play involves a lot
of tap dancing. Besides being involved with the plays, I also dance outside of
school in a little studio a couple of towns over from Toms River. I have been
dancing there ever since I was seven years old.
Every year we perform a Nutcracker in December and in June we
perform our yearly recital. This year, for the “Nutcracker,” I got casted as the
Doll and I had so much fun. Every year, the June recital has a different theme
and this year’s theme is Disney World. This means that all the music that the
dancers will be performing to will be based on Disney. I am very excited.
Now that I have told you about me, I would love to know about you.
What was your senior year of high school like? If you were involved in
extracurricular activities in school, what were you involved in? I would also
like to know what your favorite part of high school was or a favorite moment
that you had.
I want to wish you a Blessed Easter or Passover. I hope you get to eat
all the sweets you want to. I am keeping you in my thoughts and my prayers.
Sincerely,
Melanie
