Bursaries
The SDC Bursary Scheme offers students the opportunity of a financial boost to help in their research while
at university or college. The key is that the application must show a significant element of colour in their
research approach and is further helped if this use is innovative and will involve some learning. The award
is willing to fund the purchase of books which would be donated to the library of the learning institute for
the use of future generations.
Applications are welcome from both the design and technical side of coloration and both are supported equally as a means
of bridging the gap between the two disciplines. All awardees must provide a final report and on many occasions the work has
featured in the SDC’s publications when the work has been outstanding or particularly interesting.
