ASDC

SDC’s Diplomates book

2017 was an exciting year of development for both the content and delivery of the ASDC. From October
2017 the ASDC became available as an online course on the SDC’s new colour.network. This ran in parallel
to a full review of the content. The ASDC is an honours degree equivalent qualification, covering subjects
in depth. Taught over four years it meets the needs of a global industry requiring a professional standard
of qualification worldwide. On passing the examinations students are able to apply for Chartered Colourist
(CCol). ASDC is obtained by passing examinations in the required subjects, making up a total of 360 points.
Licentiateship (LSDC) is obtained by achieving passes in courses that make up 180 points.
