HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY
Health and Safety Policy Being safe together
GT Electrical is committed to achieving the highest levels of health and safety performance in our workplace
We, managers and employees, will work together to continuously improve health and safety at GT Electrical
We will endeavour to eliminate any factors that may contribute to injuries or illnesses of our employees, contractors, visitors, workplaces, construction sites and homes in which we work.
All staff are expected to actively contribute to providing a healthy and safe workplace by taking personal responsibility for their own actions, and participating in the development, implementation and review of programmes in their workplace.
We will ensure that:
Occupational health and safety has equal priority to operational productivity
Employees are consulted and involved in developing our health and safety policies and programme
Compliance with the law and all relevant standards drives our health and safety system
Health and safety objectives are included in all our business planning processes
All incidents and identified hazards are accurately reported and corrective action is taken when we find the need for improvement
Employees are supported through recovery and rehabilitation resulting in a safe and early return to work following an injury or illness
All employees are provided with ongoing support to ensure they understand the health and safety issues affecting our workplaces.
