Doors
All Exterior Doors
(Exterior doors include exterior front, side, rear and garage doors)
• Exterior doors must be made of wood, fiberglass, steel casing over
wood, steel casing over foam, etc., or fiberglass casing over thermally
insulating layers of materials.
• No total steel doors allowed
• Exterior doors must be smooth, with no artificial wood textures
• Grilles on exterior doors are not allowed
• As needed, Westcove Cluster Association will paint all exterior front
doors, garage doors, side doors, and rear doors a dark gray color so
that all of said doors remain one color as a set
• When a homeowner acquires a new exterior door, the homeowner
must ensure that the color of the door, whether colored at the place of
fabrication, or painted upon installation, matches the dark gray that
Westcove Cluster Association last used to paint exterior doors
Storm Door
• Storm doors shall be full light
• Shall have a frame that is colored or
• Painted to match the same dark gray that Westcove Cluster Association
last used to paint exterior doors
Front Entry Door
Front exterior doors shall have the following additional standards, along with those stated above
for all doors:
• Whether solid or containing glass, all front doors must have an inlay
design that shall have at least one rectangle or square.
• All shapes in the inlay design, apart from those within any glass
pattern, must be squares or rectangles whose edges parallel to the top
and sides of the door
• The door handle shall be a silver-colored lever type
