Side and Rear Entry Doors
Side and rear exterior doors shall have the following additional standards, along with those stated
above for all doors:
• The door shall have a large rectangular inlay that is centered on the
door. The rectangular inlay shall be filled with clear or privacy glass.
• The large rectangular glass inlay shall have a surface area that is at
least 45% the surface area of the door exterior.

Note: This is a full light door with one simple rectangular piece of clear or privacy glass

• If there is a pet door, the rectangular inlay above the pet door may be
of 1/2 light or 3/4 light size and filled with clear or privacy glass
