Fences
Colors/Materials
• Originally “Red Cedar”
• Now Olympic Solid Stain “Oxford Brown”
• Clear, colorless sealant for decks and fences
• The DRB does not specify manufacturers or brand of materials that must be used.
Note: The board further confirmed that previously approved and existing colors for decks and fences may not be
eliminated from use where previously approved. Balconies with T-1-11 facings must continue to be painted/stained
the same color as the house.
Front Fences
Removal of front fence enclosures with the following options:
• Replace the front fence with one constructed of T1-11 using the same dimensions as the
original, and painted/stained in accordance with the approved color palette for fences.
• Replace the fence with an evergreen hedge (minimum 4 ft. height) installed in the same
location as the original fence.
Stipulations:
• Front fence and/or hedge removal behind fence/hedge be simple landscaped (lawn or
plantings)
• No structural elements (i.e., patio or deck) or additions that would create an activity area.
• The Board discourages a cluttered appearance in the resulting highly visible area.
