3. Specific Safety Rules and Precautions

3.1) Specific Safety Rules:

 Your warranty is voided if: You modify the scarifier.

 Maintain labels and nameplates on the scarifier. These carry important
information. If unreadable or missing, contact seller for a replacement.

 Make sure the scarified is used on a flat, level, surface to maintain stability of
the tool. Do not use the scarified on inclines.

 Never stand on the scarifier. Serious injury could result if the scarified is tipped.

 Never leave the scarifier unattended when it is running. Always turn off the
scarifier before leaving.

 Do not allow children and other unauthorized people to handle or play with the
scarifier.

 Industrial applications must follow OSHA guidelines.

 Prior to using the scarifier, make sure to clear away large rocks, sticks, and
other foreign materials off the ground surface to avoid damage to the scarifier
and/or personal injury. Use caution when working around pipes or ducts
protruding from the floor or slab edges.

 Do not allow other people to stand beside the scarifier when the tool is being
operated. Always keep hands and feet safely away from the moving parts of the
scarifier.

 Always make sure all guards are in place and in proper working condition
prior to starting the scarifier.

 Always maintain a firm grip on the handle assembly with both hands to ensure
proper control.

 Do not modify the scarifier. This machine will do the work better and safer at
the speed and capacity for which it was designed.
